Software developer - Web based technologies

Your mission :
We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing interactive web-based technologies, with a focus on educational settings.
Main duties and responsibilities include :
  • Develop an extension for Jupyter notebooks that collects data about students’ activity and presents it in the form of an interactive dashboard
  • Develop an interactive dashboard using React (or a similar technology) that helps administrators make better decisions about student admissions
  • Continuously improve and iterate on both projects through user testing and feedback
  • Work on the front-end and back-end of web applications, using technologies such as Python, Flask, JavaScript, and React
  • Be open to learning new technologies and working on a variety of projects within the lab
Your profile :
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
  • Experience with web development technologies, such as React or Angular
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Evidence of prior related work, such as links to websites or a Github repository
